Chennai is the capital of the State of Tamil Nadu and is also the fourth largest metropolitan city of India. Other known Temple of the city worth visiting are known Kamakshi Amman Temple, Perumal temple on Vaikunta and Temple of Varadaraja. All temples in Kanchipuram closed from 12: 30 to 4 pm in the evening, so be sure to start at the earliest, when you plan a drip day from Chennai to this location. In addition to its religious sites and typical South Indian temples, Kanchipuram is world-renowned for its hand loomed silk sarees fabrics which vary from as low as Rs. 1 and lakhs of rupees.
